尼康SLM Solutions和Dyndrite建立金属3D打印合作伙伴关系

2024-11-2210

Dyndrite, provider of a GPU-accelerated software platform for digital manufacturing, has announced a strategic partnership withNikon SLM Solutions, a company specializing in Selective Laser Melting (SLM). The goal of the collaboration is to expand the capabilities of Nikon SLM Solutions’ printer portfolio, including the NXG series and the SLM125, SLM280 and SLM500 models.

At the center of the partnership is the integration of Dyndrite’s LPBF Pro software. This enables advanced toolpath strategies, including scalable slicing, support-free printing at low angles, optimized multi-laser coordination and dynamic laser control. The solution enables customers to produce complex geometries faster, more accurately and more cost-effectively. At the same time, users can develop their own optimizations for specific manufacturing requirements, for example in the aerospace, automotive or medical technology sectors.

“This partnership between Nikon SLM Solutions and Dyndrite represents a milestone for industries where metal additive manufacturing is essential to achieving high-performance, differentiated parts,” said Simone Castellani, Chief Technology Officer, Nikon SLM Solutions. “Our combined commitment to open architecture provides customers with unparalleled access to capabilities that drive innovation, fast-track production, and maximize efficiency across the entire process. Ultimately, our customers benefit the most by reducing time-to-market and achieving lower end-part costs.”

A key aspect of the partnership is the open architecture of the Nikon SLM Solutions printing platform. This offers customers maximum flexibility to develop customized solutions and optimize their production.

“Our collaboration with Nikon SLM Solutions represents a game-changer for the metal additive manufacturing industry that has been years in the making,” said Harshil Goel,CEOof Dyndrite. “Nikon SLM Solutions’ open architecture combined with Dyndrite’s compute and software capabilities delivers an unmatched solution for users seeking to dramatically increase build speed, improve part quality, or print without supports. We look forward to the array of new parts and part economics that have been fundamentally enabled due to our combined solution. If you are seeking to print inconel 718 and/or Titanium parts without supports come find us!”

The partnership is already showing tangible results. Companies such as Additive Manufacturing Services Ltd. have been able to use Dyndrite components to create complex parts that were previously unprintable. The combination of Nikon SLM Solutions’ hardware and Dyndrite’s software creates a robust platform that increases both productivity and quality in additive manufacturing.

“Dyndrite shares our customer-centric vision,” said Dr. Simon Merkt-Schippers, EVP of Product Management at Nikon SLM Solutions. “Through open architecture and this partnership, we provide our customers access to the most powerful solutions available while supporting their specific needs, ultimately bringing low end-part costs and accelerated end-to-end production closer to reality.”

Interested parties can experience the developments live at Formnext 2024 in Frankfurt, where both companies will present their latest technologies.
